Bobby Gruska is an in-demand touring musician and one half of the sibling duo The Belle Brigade.
In 2016, following recording of Foo Fighters album 'Concrete And Gold' which featured several songs with huge, almost orchestral vocal arrangements on several songs, the band decided that they would go on tour with dedicated backing vocalists for the first time. Bobby was one of three vocalists hired for the role and he would remain in that role until 2022, performing at over 150 shows. Following the death of Taylor Hawkins, Bobby joined the band for the final time at his tribute concerts in London and Los Angeles, after which the band decided to start afresh and not continue with backing vocalists.
Bobby has also worked with Neko Case, Kurt Vile, Margaret Cho, Jenny Lewis, and his brother Ethan Gruska. He is the grandson of composer John Williams. Bobby is married to fellow former backing vocalist Laura Mace.
