Harper Grohl is Dave Grohl’s second eldest daughter. A creative person herself, she is a multi-instrumentalist and oil painter, with selected pieces shown as part of the art exhibit ‘Strength: A Celebration of Art Queens’ in 2025.
Harper appeared alongside her eldest sister Violet in the promo video for ‘The Sky is a Neighborhood’. She has also popped up during Foo Fighters shows, notably to play the drum part on Queen’s ‘We Will Rock You’. Harper played and sang this song, along with ‘The Sky is a Neighborhood’, with Violet and Dave at the Notes & Words benefit concert in 2018.
Harper and an un-named friend provided backing vocals on the track 'Your Favorite Toy' from the album of the same name.
