After a successful one-off guest presenting role on the show the previous year Dave returned to the host position of Chelsea Handler's Chelsea Lately for a full week in 2013. The episode follows the standard format of the show with an opening sketch, a news segment with the guest and panellists breaking down current affairs followed by an interview with a special guest.

On this episode Tenacious D were the special guests and this was Dave's final guest host appearance on the show.
